Thank you @blaauwklippen & @hammanduys for the most beautiful #capeheritage package, complete with freshly baked mosbolletjies, farm butter, maketaan preserve, preserved guavas, handmade labneh, three of their best wines, and a heritage inspired macaron collection (koeksister, rooibos and Hertzoggie flavours - also available at the farm as a tasting option with these three wines). We'll start our festivities today with these mosbolletjies and preserves, and most definitely a glass of the MCC Brut. Wishing everyone a happy #heritageday! Remember, @hammanduys is open all weekend for their Cape Heritage inspired menu. PS: We're going to light the fire now for an obligatory braai!! 🥂🔥

HAPPY SPRING DAY EVERYBODY!!!! 🌿 To celebrate the start of a warmer, greener season, here is my recipe for a bright 15-minute 'Spring greens' soup with ALL of the toppings: a swirl of cream, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, some roasted smoked pumpkin seeds, fresh pea shoots and mint leaves and of course some fresh ciabatta toasted with olive oil. The soup is a blend of leeks, peas, broccoli, baby spinach and mint with @firstchoice.za cream and vegetable stock. 🥦🥬🥖 SO very simple and it all comes together in just 15 minutes! Thank you @firstchoice.za for choosing fully recyclable packaging made from naturally renewable sources like sugarcane. #itsallgood #choosegreen 🌿
